Our young performer for August, Lee Cheong, comes to us with extensive recital experience, especially in the UK. We are fortunate that she has chosen to add Bundanoon to her performance list. Her programme includes Chopin's perennially enjoyable Mazurkas, as well as Beethoven, Mozart and Albeniz.
We extend a warm welcome to Wollongong based musicians Kyle Little, violinist, Ilir Merxhushi, cello and David Vance, piano, who bring their world wide performance experience to well loved piano trios by Beethoven and Faure. Sarah Hindson has withdrawn due to illness.
Arts Bundanoon is proud to present James Dong - an outstanding violin talent. He will perform works by Bach, Paganini (variations on God Save the Queen) and Kreisler. Described as a “rare and exceptional talent” this brilliant Australian violinist, is the winner of the 2013 Gisbourne International Violin Competition.
A rare opportunity to hear two of Australia’s most distinguished duo pianists in a recital of piano music arranged for four hands. The programme will include well-known music by Bizet – “Children's Games”, Faure – “Dolly Suite” and others.
Piano at Ten - 4th May, 2013
VoCE is the result of three internationally experienced artists’ desire to seek out and perform repertoire specifically written for voice and a chamber ensemble using viola and piano, hence the title VoCE - Vocal Chamber Ensemble. Voice, viola and piano combine to produce the rich weave of VoCE's music.
Piano at Ten - 2nd March, 2013
The programme will explore different perspectives of love - from the euphoria of true love to the desolation of love lost - through the work of French and American composers of the late 19th and 20th centuries.
