Arts Bundanoon are delighted to begin the year with this performance - "local content" at its best. Two busy performers take time to show us "A Woman's Work". A woman betrayed, a woman in love, a woman aspiring to a different life, a woman seducing her ex-lover, a woman sick of being a woman…
Film composer Ian Laurence presents Sydney’s two best acappella choirs in the traditional African American Gospel genre: JONAH & THE WAILERS, the big 50 voice choir, and THE ELEMENTALS, (15 voices – including several hot soloists!).
Arts Bundanoon extends a warm welcome to Sherilyn Chen, who has kindly agreed to play in November, in lieu of Tony Lee who, sadly, has a tendon injury. We wish him a complete recovery. Sherilyn, talented young winner of the Sydney Eisteddfod's Chopin section, will play a Chopin Ballade and the well known though fiercely virtuosic Waldstein Sonata of Beethoven.
Arts Bundanoon audiences will remember the brilliant young Canberra-based pianist who astounded all with her performance at Piano at 10 last year. We are indeed fortunate to have secured her to play another programme for this year's Piano at 10.
Join us for a Gala night in Imperial Vienna: enjoy the company of Beethoven, Brahms and Kreisler; be guided by the superlative interpreters, Gerard Willems and Evgeny Sorkin.
Welcome the spring and enjoy a relaxing morning with the Halley Quartett when this fine string quartet returns to Bundanoon.
