Australian pianist Jeremy So completed his studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Alexandra Vinokurov, then with Stephen Savage at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester. He has been invited to participate in masterclasses with pianists such as Steven Osborne, Kathryn Stott, Stephen Hough, Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Andras Schiff. His performances have taken him abroad to Auckland and Kerikeri, Leipzig, Paris, Bangkok and Xi’an, and across Australia and England at venues including the Sydney Opera House, the Federation Concert Hall with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Wigmore Hall and Bridgewater Hall. Festival appearances include the 2010 ISCM World New Music Days, the 2014 Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme/67th Aldeburgh Festival, the 2015 London Sinfonietta Academy and the 2016 Chester Music Festival with the Manchester Camerata. His performances of contemporary repertoire have consistently received acclaim, most recently the Andreadis Family Prize at the 2018 Australian National Piano Award. As an ensemble pianist he is also in great demand and has won numerous awards internationally.
