Mia Huang Piano at Ten

Filled with a great passion for music, Mia involves herself in many forms of performance. She has given two recitals at Wesley Music Centre, and was invited to give recitals in the Bundanoon Piano at 10 series for three consecutive years.

Mia Huang began her piano studies at the age of 4 when she was in China. She moved to Canberra in 2007 and learnt piano with Joan Breen, who truly inspired her love for music. Mia currently studies under Wendy Lorenz, who has guided and inspired her through her A.Mus.A and L.Mus.A, as well as many competitions, events, and concerts.

A student at the ANU Type 1 Music Course for Colleges, Mia has had the opportunity to collaborate with many talented young musicians, and enjoys it immensely. She is hoping to study Music Performance next year in university.
