Kate Wilmot relocated to Australia from South Africa in 2009 having been a principal artist with Johannesburg's Roodeport Promusica Opera and Capetown's Spier Opera Trust.

In August 2011, Wilmot was invited back to South Africa to perform Mozart's Requiem with the Rheinberger Chamber Choir.  The following year she performed the Requeim at the Wollongong Town Hall with the Illawarra Choral Society and members of Opera Australia.  With excerpts from Cosi Fan Tutte, La Clemenza di Tito, Zaide and Don Giovanni, this was indeed a memorable occasion.

Johnson worked for 12 years as Repetiteur with Opera Australia and has assisted in preparing a large range of  operas.  Shei is a respected musician of great experience

We are delighted to welcome soprano Kate Wilmot and pianist Kate Johnson back to the Bundanoon stage for  the April Piano at 10 performance. Their concert From Words to Music shows how the words or Shakespeare, Murger, Bronte and Dickinson find anoher voice in the hands of composers such as Britten, Verdi, Puccini, Taylor and Holby.
