James Dong - Violin. Piano at Ten

James Dong’s beautifully varied recital will include works by Paganini, JS Bach, Ernst and Wieniawski.
James began studying violin at age 6 and is currently a 5th year student at Sydney Conservatorium of Music under Ole Bohn. In 2012 he won 1st place in the Kendall national violin competition and the Gisborne International Music Competition. In 2013 James received the Australian Development Prize at the 2013 Michael Hill International Violin Competition.
His music interests include piano and composing, winning 1st prize at various regional competitions. In James Dong we are privileged to enjoy the talents of another up-and-coming virtuoso of the future.
